Vedic Marriage Match
We run the marriage tests that the most respected Vedic astrologers trust —
the spouse house, the Navamsa, the Mars (Manglik) check, the 36 Gunas and the old star matches —
then weigh each by how reliable it is to give you one honest answer.

Every test we ran · most trusted first
The stars next to each test show how much serious astrologers rely on it —
five stars means it can decide the whole matter, two stars means it is a gentle hint.
The bar shows how well the two charts score on that test. We then mix them all together,
giving the five-star tests much more say than the two-star ones.
Heart & mind — how the two of you actually mesh
These readings are the colourful, human side of the charts — how you
relate, think, love and stay loyal. They are interpretation, not a score, and an exact birth
time makes them sharper.
How we mixed everything together
Each test gives a score out of 100. We multiply it by its
weight (bigger for more reliable tests), add them up, and that is the love score above.

Please see a professional Vedic astrologer before any real decision.
Even combined, these tests are a guide, not a verdict. The very best factors —
the exact strength of each chart, the dashas (timing of life periods) and longevity
— need a trained astrologer reading both full horoscopes, and depend on an accurate
birth time. Use this as a friendly first look, then ask an expert.
Which experts & techniques is this based on?
Serious Jyotish does not rely on the popular 36-Guna score alone. Astrologers such as
K.N. Rao and B.V. Raman stress that the 7th house and its lord, the
Navamsa (D9) chart, the strength of Venus & Jupiter, and timing
(dashas) matter far more than the raw Guna number. This page blends those ideas:
- Spouse house (7th house & lord, with Navamsa check) — the house of
marriage in each chart. Most reliable. Needs an accurate birth time.
- Navamsa & deep chart match — the D9 "marriage chart", plus how the two
charts' Venus, Mars, Jupiter and rising signs relate.
- Mars / Manglik (Kuja Dosha) — checked from the rising sign, Moon and Venus,
with the standard cancellation rules.
- Ashtakoota 36 Gunas — the famous eight-fold Moon-star score (Varna, Vashya,
Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Bhakoot, Nadi).
- Nadi & Bhakoot — the two heaviest doshas, scored with their
cancellation rules.
- Old star matches — Rajju, Vedha, Mahendra and Stree-Deergha poruthams from
South-Indian tradition. Lightest weight.
Each is rated from more to less reliable and combined with weights drawn from that expert
consensus. Timing/longevity are not automated here — that is the astrologer's job.
