Vedic Marriage Match

We run the marriage tests that the most respected Vedic astrologers trust — the spouse house, the Navamsa, the Mars (Manglik) check, the 36 Gunas and the old star matches — then weigh each by how reliable it is to give you one honest answer.

The two people

♀ Partner 1 (bride / female)

♂ Partner 2 (groom / male)

Pick a birth place to set the time zone (daylight-saving included) and to find the rising sign. Birth time matters a lot for the most reliable tests (the spouse house and Navamsa). If a time is unknown we still answer, but we lower our confidence and lean on the Moon-based tests.

How happy could this marriage be?

Even combined, these tests are a guide, not a verdict. The very best factors — the exact strength of each chart, the dashas (timing of life periods) and longevity — need a trained astrologer reading both full horoscopes, and depend on an accurate birth time. Use this as a friendly first look, then ask an expert.
Which experts & techniques is this based on?

Serious Jyotish does not rely on the popular 36-Guna score alone. Astrologers such as K.N. Rao and B.V. Raman stress that the 7th house and its lord, the Navamsa (D9) chart, the strength of Venus & Jupiter, and timing (dashas) matter far more than the raw Guna number. This page blends those ideas:

Each is rated from more to less reliable and combined with weights drawn from that expert consensus. Timing/longevity are not automated here — that is the astrologer's job. Calculations use sidereal positions (Lahiri ayanāṃśa) from the same offline ephemeris as the rest of the site.
